The Vale of Belvoir forms part of the counties of Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire in the United Kingdom, and is right in the heart of the English countryside and close to the East Midlands region. Often the Vale of Belvoir is referred to as in "Notts" Nottinghamshire, but it does have 3 counties within its borders. The name Belvoir means "beautiful view" and dates from Norman times. More and more people are visiting the Vale of Belvoir, and enjoying the walks, the countryside and days out at Belvoir Castle, the home of the Duke of Rutland. There is a high speed train service from London Kings Cross station in London, arriving at Grantham station in just over one hour. The Vale of Belvoir is also within easy reach of Nottingham, Leicester, Lincoln, Stamford, Melton and Grantham.
The Marquis of Granby is a Brewsters Brewery CAMRA award winning pub. Brewsters has a long relationship with the Marquis and provides its award winning bitter called "Marquis" along with other fine ales sourced from real ale breweries.
