The recently re-launched Rose at Hose is a welcoming pub with a terrific atmosphere, serving great food. Situated in the picturesque village of Hose the Rose and Crown has a great selection of real ales and guest beers, many of which are from local breweries in the Vale of Belvoir. This is an ideal pub to visit with open fires in winter and a garden patio area for those summer evenings. The pub has been very extensively restored yet maintains its village pub appeal. Hose is right in the heart of the Vale of Belvoir making the Rose at Hose an ideal place to meet friends for a chat and a drink.
The fusion menu at the Rose at Hose offers a wide range of mouth-watering, homemade delights. Starters on offer include a comforting French Onion Soup, Firecracker Chicken with sweet chilli sauce or delectable Thai Spiced King Prawns with garlic butter. The main courses are equally delicious, select from traditional favourites such as Home Cooked Ham, Double Egg & Homemade Chips or Boozy Beef Casserole topped with Chargrilled Bacon served with vegetables and new potatoes. The impressive menu also offers dishes with an international flavour such as Asian marinated Duck Breast served on Vegetable Egg Noodles & a rich Hoi Sin sauce or Fresh Tuna chargrilled set on crushed New Potatoes, sweetcorn & parsley served with spicy tomato salsa. The desserts on offer will certainly tempt most and are the perfect way to finish off a fantastic meal.
For those wanting a light snack there is good selection of bar snacks are available. You can choose from the lunchtime menu or for those with a smaller appetite Open Sandwiches and Oven Baked Jacket Potatoes are available. To the rear of the Rose at Hose there is a large paddock that can be used for functions, making this an ideal place for a wedding reception or that special party. There is plenty of room for parking all within walking distance of the pub. Whilst visiting the Rose, the village of Hose is well worth looking into, with the restoration of the Grantham Canal the Rose at Hose is ideal for walkers and cyclists popping in for a drink at the weekend.
