Located in the rolling Leicestershire countryside, close to the historic market town of Melton Mowbray and only a short drive from the magnificent Belvoir Castle, Scalford Hall is a stunning Edwardian Country Mansion with beautiful grounds.  The unique history attached to Scalford Hall also makes this marvellous building very intriguing to the visitor.  Originally built as a weekend hunting lodge, Scalford Hall was purchased post World War II by Colonel Coleman (Founder of Coleman’s Mustard).

 

 

 Scalford Hall has certainly not lost any of its romantic charm, and today it provides the perfect setting for any couple to enjoy their wedding day. The experienced team at Scalford Hall take a very individualistic approach to the planning of each wedding, aiming to meet the couple’s specific requirements, therefore ensuring that their special day is as perfect and enjoyable as they have envisaged it to be.  Scalford Hall has also been granted a licence to hold Civil Ceremonies, this allows the couple to hold their whole wedding at this remarkable venue, from the Marriage Ceremony right through to the Reception therefore allowing the couple and their invited guests to truly relax and feel comfortable in their surroundings.

 

 

Scalford Hall is also the ideal base in which to relax and unwind after exploring the delights the local area has to offer.  Each of the 88 bedrooms are en-suite and have excellent facilities, this ensures the visitor is afforded maximum comfort during their stay.  Scalford Hall has also earned itself an excellent reputation as a Management Training Centre, offering fantastic facilities including; fully equipped training rooms, 9 management-training suites, syndicate rooms and 2 secluded dining rooms.  The dedicated team of staff will once again adopt a very individualistic approach to ensure that event organisers are able to concentrate on the course objectives leaving everything else in their experienced and capable hands.
