An ideal retreat to unwind and relax
Vale Cottage is one of the oldest properties located within the picturesque village of Redmile; a fantastic little village located in the heart of the stunning Vale of Belvoir, only a few miles away from the magnificent Belvoir Castle. Facing due east and over looking a farmyard entrance, Vale Cottage enjoys the morning sunshine and after midday, all day in the back garden. This cottage really offers peace and tranquilly in a beautiful setting, and is an ideal retreat to unwind and relax.
Upon entering the cottage, it has an incredibly welcoming ambience; it has recently been double- glazed throughout, and offers gas central heating to ensure warmth and cosiness during the winter months. There is an entrance hall leading to a large kitchen/breakfast room with gas hob, electric oven and automatic washing machine. On the other side of the hall, a small doorway leads into the dining room, which has a reclaimed pine table and leather dining chairs. The lounge is located adjacent to the dining room with open fire, original sand stonewalls and wooden beams. A cottage suite, coffee table, television, free view, cd/dvd player and a selection of dvds have been thoughtfully provided for your enjoyment.
A narrow staircase that leads to a small hall, with 2 bedrooms, accesses upstairs. The master bedroom offers charm and character with contemporary overtones this room offers a double bed and television. The second bedroom is smaller with a 4ft bed comfortable for one, cosy for two. This bedroom overlooks the farmyard. The bathroom is located downstairs with basin, wc, bath with shower, heated towel rail and radiator. Outside there is a covered carport for off street parking with a gate that leads to the cottage entrance and garden. The garden benefits in the summer with the sunshine all day and an Australian Gas Barbecue/griddle is also available to use.
The owners; David and Kirsten are also able to offer a 10% reduction on any food purchased in their restaurant The Windmill, just a 150 yards walk.
