The Old Rectory is a stunning Georgian Rectory set within its own secluded grounds in the picturesque village of Wymondham, offerring a high standard of Guest House Bed and Breakfast with real traditional hospitality. Guests are offered a comfortable self-contained guest house with it's own entrance and ample car parking. Each of the beautifully furnished rooms are well appointed with either an en-suite shower or bath and also have a colour TV and Tea/Coffee making facilities. Guests may choose between a traditional English or Continental breakfast and, given adequate notice, any dietary requirements will be endeavoured to be met.
The quaint village of Wymondham is situated seven miles north of Oakham, the county town of Rutland, England’s smallest county and seven miles east of the historic market town Melton Mowbray, famous for it's fantastic pork pies! The village also has a great pub, The Berkeley Arms, serving excellent bar snacks and evening meals and within walking distance of The Old Rectory.
This part of Leicestershire is rich in its variety with plenty to see and do and The Old Rectory is conveniently placed for visiting the local stately homes of Belton House, Grimsthorpe Castle, Belvoir Castle and Burghley House along with the leisure pursuits of Rutland Water. The sophisticated and exciting cities of Nottingham, Leicester and Peterborough are also within driving distance.
