At the time of opening, the primary goal was to provide a quality picture framing service for the local community and to offer a fantastic selection of prints, both framed and unframed, depicting the true delights this stunning rural part of the world has to offer. The standard of work is second to none, and Belvoir Gallery continues today to offer a fantastic level of service.
Within its beautiful countryside and magnificent architecture, the Vale of Belvoir boasts a history and depth of culture that includes Belvoir Castle, the Belvoir Hunt (the Duke of Rutland’s Hounds), equestrian activities, wildlife, country pursuits and working dogs; providing subject matter featured in the work of some truly remarkable and reputed artists. With over 25 years of experience in this field, Belvoir Gallery now has a broad knowledge and appreciation of the work of local artists, often commissioning new work to allow them to offer a wider range of subjects.
