About the history of Autosleepers motorhomes in the UK it's a French beginning.

Autosleeper the Auto sleepers story all started with the Trevelyan family and their two young sons, back in 1961, there would no doubt be less traffic then than there is now, however they were searching for a touring holiday with a difference so they built their own motorhome based on a Morris J2 van! So began a journey to one of the best coach built motorhomes and campervans companies being born!

The holiday took them to the South of France and so they learned valuable lessons from the prototype camper van that they incorporated design refinements into the second model they made. The second van was an Austin that attracted the attention of Austin dealers Henley’s of Bristol. Faced with orders for more vehicles Autosleepers motorhomes was on its way. Today Autosleepers remain a family orientated business and are still staffed by people who are passionate about quality motorhomes. Using all the skills they had gained over 50 years and still remain today one of the leading the motorhome suppliers.
