Belvoir Challenge was set up in 1990 to raise money for Harby Primary School.
Most walkers wear walking boots with gaiters or wellington's runners preferring trainers or boots.

About us.
The Belvoir Challenge is a 16 or 26 mile event for walkers and runners around the Vale of Belvoir and Belvoir Escarpment in north-east Leicestershire.
- The 2011 Annual Belvoir Challenge took place on Saturday 5th March.
- We will be mailing details and entry forms to our previous entrants during October.
- Please return your entry form promptly as places for the 2011.
Please also note that in future events we will not be posting out entry forms unless specifically asked for.

Some of the main points:

All entrants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Strictly NO dogs - at landowners request.

Parking in the village is limited - Marshals and signboards will direct cars to parking areas, but please park with consideration for the local residents.

Changing facilities are limited, and there are no showers.

Take particular care for your own safety at road crossings.

There will be advance warning notices of these, and marshals at certain points, but please note that marshals are there to warn you of traffic, they are not allowed to stop traffic.
