The Belvoir Hunt's website is for stop-press news, and to provide a summary of forthcoming events, and details of how to contact the Hunt, the site provides ways to place adverts and has a unique satellite map of belvoir country, which is zoomable to hedgerow level and shows the Belvoir Hunt boundary and many of our coverts. On the website are reports from theTumblers Club, a local point-to-point racing, team chasing and hunter trials information is available. Other information on farming and countryside alliance issues are linked as well as hedgelaying competition and others events taking place.
The Dukes hounds are called the "Belvoir Tans" and are one of the oldest packs of hounds in the country. The Hunt complies to all the regulations of the Hunting Ban but has a duty of care to ensure that the historic pack of hounds are looked after and that they are not lost. The puppy show is one of the highlights of the Belvoir Hunt held in May and is a great sporting and countryside event.
The Belvoir hunt continues to be well supported by the Belvoir Hunt supporters club along with arranging team events for the popular point to point racing and other club and racing events, the Belvoir hunt helps to support the Tumblers club and continues to help young riders attracted to the countryside and way of life and carring on the tradition of countryside events.
An insite to the history of the Belvoir hunt can be found in a book by T F Dale first published in 1899 and is a real history of the Manners family and its support for hunting and country way of life.
