Langar Hall is situated 12 miles South East of Nottingham on the Leicestershire border, Langar Hall has overlooking gardens, medieval carp ponds and ancient trees in the park. This charming small hotel near Nottingham offers a haven of tranquility away from the stress of city life. Langar Hall is a genuine country house which has gently evolved into a hotel and restaurant without loosing the air of a family home. It enjoys the reputation for exceptional hospitality, friendly and efficient service, comfortable bedrooms, good food and an interesting wine list.

You may choose to stay here when on business or visiting family and friends in the area, for a party or reunion, a romantic weekend, your wedding night or to watch cricket at Trent Bridge, visit students at Nottingham University or make it your base to tour the great houses and Cathedrals of the East Midlands. Some people come just for the experience. There are a total of 12 rooms 7 double rooms in the house, 3 in the wing plus a single room and a delightful chalet on the croquet lawn.

The bedrooms are named after people who have figured in the house's history or whose rooms they once were. Some names have not changed in 100 years. The rooms vary in size and character and all contain excellent facilities including a good sized desk,en-suite bathrooms,remote control television,direct dial telephone,trouser press and a tray for morning tea and coffee.Most of them enjoy beautiful views and all are quiet and extremely comfortable.Children are welcome,dogs are welcome too by prior arrangement according to breed.
