Clay Target Centre in the stunning Vale of Belvoir

Located in the small attractive village of Orston, which is situated in the picturesque Vale of Belvoir and surrounded by stunning countryside, Orston Shooting Ground is home to some of the finest clay shooting in the country.In 1994 the grounds came under new management and at this point were modernised the high standard you see today.More recently a modern clubhouse has been added, this means members and visitors can also enjoy an excellent cafeteria area along with a fully licensed bar serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Such excellent facilities certainly enhance a day’s shooting at the fantastic Orston Shooting Ground.

The current club membership is in excess of 1400, this high number is certainly a good testament to illustrate the popularity of this friendly club, indeed the CPSA Disabled Shooters Group have adopted Orston as their home ground.Non-members are also warmly welcomed with full supervision and free gun hire is available for beginners.Competitions are held each Sunday on all disciplines and prizes are awarded for the best scores, however, for the less proficient shooter practise sessions are still available.

Corporate events can also be held at Orston Shooting Ground.Full supervision and training can be offered to the inexperienced shooters so all ages and abilities can enjoy a day out at Orston Shooting Ground.On corporate days out Orston can arrange for prizes, buffets and drinks. A full package is offered with flexibility.  Orston Shooting Ground is only an approximate 15 miles from Nottingham and easily accessible by car, with adequate parking and disabled friendly access.The grounds are C.P.S.A. registered and all layouts are C.P.S.A. approved.
