Welcome to The Peacock Inn at Redmile, a traditional country inn located on your doorstep.The Peacock Inn is a traditional country inn located in the beautiful village of Redmile with beamed ceilings, open fires and a warm friendly atmosphere.  The setting is perfect for you to relax and savour our fine wines, cask conditioned ales and delicious food. Located in the oldest part of the building is the bar area, and has served beer since 1795, the earliest known landlord being one Mr William Furnidge.On warmer days you can watch village life go by and enjoy the sunshine on the delightful gravel patio. Alternatively there is a decked area at the rear if more privacy is required.

The à la carte restaurant provides the perfect setting for those special occasions, or you can try the mouth watering bar menu in the more relaxed atmosphere of the pub lounge. The Peacock has two a la carte restaurants. The Garden Room is lovely in the summer season and will comfortably sit 60 for dinner or lunch. The Rookery is smaller but very cosy with beamed ceilings and a log burner. Seating 30, it is excellent for smaller private functions.  The Peacock serves only the finest English and Continental cuisine, using local in season produce where possible. All dishes are freshly prepared on the premises by expert chefs. An extensive wine list is offered with wines from around the world.

There are ten beautiful en-suite rooms available, including a great family room that are all individually furnished and named after important wildlife in the surrounding countryside. At the Peacock Inn the first difference you'll notice is the choice of relaxing and individual bedrooms. Whether you choose from the Badger Room or the Owl Room, a comfortable night's sleep is guaranteed followed by a delicious snack to help start the day.There is also a four-poster bed in the Fox room for that romantic occasion.
