Walks in the Vale of Belvoir Area

Meet the Vale of Belvoir Ramblers Group - a small friendly group covering the Vale of Belvoir area. Our varied programme offers daytime Sunday and Wednesday walks from September to June.  In June and July our summer strolls programme alternates between Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.  

We cater for all ages and abilities, from gentle strolls to help ease your way back to fitness to longer walks for the more intrepid rambler. Families are very welcome, but don't worry if you are a solo walker as we are a friendly group and endeavour to seek out and introduce ourselves to new members.  New walkers are welcome to try us out for two or three walks before joining.

Walking is one of the easiest ways to get fit - it's free, fun, sociable and anyone can do it! It is gentle on your joints and a stress-free way of making new friends.  Many of our walks are in and around the Vale of Belvoir, which is ideally situated for walking in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.

We also travel further afield to Derbyshire and the Peak District and organise social events and pub lunch walks.  It should be noted that participation in any of the walks contained in the programme is at the individual’s own risk.
